A5films is a network of talented filmmakers that produce a wide variety of projects from commercials to short films while promoting local filmmakers and linking them to great potential projects. This website operates as a professional portfolio, a local filmmaker directory, and also as a forum for local movie review writers.

In the Beginning…

A5films was loosely formed in 2005 as a small group of friends and filmmaker students at Missouri State University that created short films and stayed up too late.  “A5 “comes from the apartment number where founders and BFFs Bryan Manning and Michael Neese lived, drank, chain-smoked, housed felons, fed presidential canidates, dressed up, and wrote stories while staring at their sodium-lit parking lot…A lot has changed since the beginning, but the adventure continues.
